Reference Values
Reference values are now split for easier navigation:
Tag name normalization
Tags are optional creator-owned names, separate from category IDs. Send names to
Post create/PATCH; reuse vocabulary from private GET /api/v1/tags. Responses
contain UUID-sorted {id,profileId,name,collectionUrl} objects. Names preserve case,
accents and Danish letters. Different creators' identical names remain separate.
Optional slug and creatorHandle fields describe the current readable address.
Slugs are saved and unique per creator; URL transliteration does not change tag names.
The canonicalizer applies NFC, then trims/collapses the following Unicode White_Space characters to one ASCII space:
- U+0009–U+000D, U+0020, U+0085, U+00A0 and U+1680
- U+2000–U+200A, U+2028–U+2029, U+202F, U+205F and U+3000
Remaining control (Cc) and format (Cf) characters are rejected. Each canonical
name must contain 1–64 Unicode code points. Requests accept at most 10 raw
names, then deduplicate canonical names and sort by UTF-8 bytes. Assignment order
has no meaning. Omission preserves assignments on PATCH; [] clears; null is
invalid. Vocabulary survives assignment removal and Post deletion. No rename API
is provided. See tags and examples and
public collections.
